Pulse capacitors for deflection circuits in TV - set, resonant capacitors and other pulse - applications

MKPI and KPI pulse capacitors are suitable for pulse and high frequency applications.The capacitors for pulse applications have special construction, which enable to work with very high pulse rise time, high value of current and charge, at high frequencies.The pulse capacitors are typical film - foil and metallized film types.The construction of our pulse capacitors ensures self healing ability. The pulse current limit is expressed in the form of maximum permitted dU/dt in [V] per [msec] The amplitude of current pulses is expressed by the formula I_IMP = C x dU/dt.The dU/dt and I _IMP limits for a specific type of capacitors are dependent on the construction of capacitors and geometrical configuration of the winding, first of all.The pulse capacitors MKPI:

The snubber capacitors combine very high current carrying capability with very low inductance, very low dielectric losses and capacitance stability in wide working frequency range. The snubber capacitors are available - with direct IGBT module terminals.

For high pulse and high current applications we are also able to offer special designs as snubber capacitors, capacitors for GTO snubber applications. The capacitor windings are encapsulated in self-extingnishing tubular boxes (UL 94 V-0). The capacitors have axial screw terminals with inner thread M6 or M8, or standard M6 or M8 screw terminals.
